SUMMER PROGRAMS

During each year we attempt to offer as many activities as we can raise monies to provide. Since 1985 we offer a six weeks summer program for school age children. Instruction is individualized with a certified teacher and each student meeting for a least one hour weekly. Since we allot thirty hours a week for this instruction, up to thirty students can be accommodated. We provide the space, the instructor, the computer hardware and computer software necessary to operate the program. The instruction focuses on the computer, as well as other manipulatives. Students with learning disabilities are given first priority after an initial intake procedure. Students with other disabilities are taken if space is available. Materials fees are requested. Why not try this method of keeping skills upgraded for the summer. We have found that students using our program have significant carry-over into the following school year. Our program roster is usually filled well in advance of registration deadlines.
